With the winter season rapidly approaching, what better way to enjoy the colder weather than to ride the slopes at the one and only Blue Mountain. Located in Collingwood, Ontario, Blue Mountain Resort offers a variety of exciting activities for family, friends, or your significant other.
For all the avid snowboarders and skiers out there (and also beginners!), enjoy the twists and turns of the hills of Blue Mountain. Blue Mountain offers 42 different runs, including 3 freestyle terrains which includes a half pipe and rails – enough for you to take your athletic skills to the next level. The longest run is 1600m, can you handle it? We think you can. If you don’t have the required gear, you can rent ski packages and snowboard packages at reasonable prices. If you’re a true ski-bum or snowboard keener, commit and purchase your winter season pass!
If you’re not a huge skier or snowboarder, and are just looking for a relaxing winter activity, introduce yourself to a whole new aspect on the Blue Mountain landscape: Snowshoeing the hidden trails in the backcountry. You will be able to view the picturesque Niagara Escarpment and could even potentially run into amazing wildlife.
If you’re the type who doesn’t necessarily enjoy the outdoors (hopefully this isn’t the case!), you will be able to enjoy roaming around the Blue Mountain Village. The village acts as a central hub of the resort, where you can eat breakfast at Oliver & Bonacini Cafe, lunch at Chuck Burger, dinner at Kaytoo Restaurant, and even reach Jozos Bar or Rustys for some drinks afterwards! But before attending nightlife events, don’t forget about enjoying the delicious beavertails offered on-site! If also want to get out of the resort and enjoy what the rest of Collingwood has to offer, discover the endless amount of bars and restaurants where you can bond with family and friends.
For those who are looking for a health and wellness experience, Blue Mountain Resort includes exceptional spa services from professionals that are tailored towards your needs. The spa service at Blue Mountain was awarded "Luxury Spa of the Year in 2015". Being open at 10am daily, you will always have something relaxing to look forward to after hitting the slopes.
